Rain
July 16, 2009Everywhere I look, it’s water. Water here, water there, water everywhere. Methinks that with the polar ice caps slowly melting away, the sun has much, much more water to evaporate and dump on the lands.
Don’t get me wrong, I love rain. Not because I’m weird but because I’ve very fond memories of rainy days. A lot of people are put down by it, but for me, it is a symbol of life. Water for the plants help them grow and thus provide more oxygen into the atmosphere. It also cleanses the city of it’s filth of smog and pollution. It fills up our dams and provides much needed nourishment for our crops. And who wouldn’t wish to snuggle into bed with a special someone when the rains bring about cooler weather eh? *wink, wink*
With all those advantages, I can’t understand why in the world PEOPLE SPILL OUT INTO THE STREETS WHEN IT RAINS!
For crying out loud, they all hurry home panicking as if rain will kill them and here’s where my gripes come out into the surface! THE TRAFFIC IS SO BAD! YOU CAN HAVE SEX WITH YOUR SIGNIFICANT OTHER INSIDE THE CAR AND NINE MONTHS LATER, SHE GIVES BIRTH AND YOU’RE STILL STUCK IN THE DAMNED HIGHWAY.
I exaggerate of course. I’m sure people are afraid of getting flooded and yeah, rain can bring about a lot of illnesses. But man, these are moments when I just wish I had a helicopter fly me home. Sure I could while away time watching women whose wet pants outline their underwear but hell you can only do that for a certain amount of time and it gets old. Not the panties, nor the women, but the fantasizing.
Besides, am already attached. I’m attached to Paloma. Yeah, the actress and I think she writes for a magazine. Sure she doesn’t know it yet, but hell, in my mind we have already gotten married. But really, she is very very very hot. Or it could just be another bad case of sexual deprivation. **virus stares into the corner and shakes his head**
Yeeeah…..I need a drink!

By the way, I would like to thank Ade for recommending my blog for the Philippine Blog Awards. As much as I am very much honored by your gesture. I guess, I’m just not ready to go public just yet.
But you have my deepest gratitude for thinking that I have a chance to win an award.
You are way too cool.
