Another Hump Day
July 23, 2008Another Wednesday! Half of the week gone and I’m still loaded with much work. Ah life is good.
The past month or so, I have been very upbeat about myself, the company and life in general. Oh sure there were people who tried to “rain on my parade”, but guess what? It ain’t workin’. I feel so much stronger and I guess, they don’t matter that much to be able to make a dent on this steamrolling happy train.

Bella is back to her food gobbling ways. No complaints here. I’m happy that she can finish three plates of rice again and complains that she’s hungry after an hour or so. Yep, that’s my baby girl, ms. pacman to say the least.
She showed me results of quizzes she took recently, cause she’s been absent for a whole week, and wow. I’m impressed. Perfect scores, which of course merits a burger from mc d’s.
Igor on the other hand, is back with his mom. Though, I really wish he could stay with me, I highly doubt this will happen lest, I go through a bloody fight with ex through the courts. It can be done, but I don’t think ex will go down without a fight. Not really concerned with her, but I’m sure the kids will be placed in the middle of the brawl and I guess, I’m concerned on how this will affect their fragile psyche.

I don’t like Batman. I hate him. I HATE HIM I SAY! Why? Cause he made the movies of my childhood heroes look like that……….kids movies. With his cool gadgets, his mature take on what needs to be done (i.e. allowing himself to to be pegged as the bad guy for the sake of preserving Harvey’s Legacy), and the very cool Joker who’s portrayal, can rival Hannibal Lecter in depravity. I swear, I haven’t been this affected by a movie since Silence of the Lambs. What happened to “Holy Flying, Crapping Geese Batman!” Oh don’t mind me, I’m just bitter. Hehehehe.

I haven’t progressed in terms of reading Blink (I’m sorry Kara). But I was having a hard time these past few weeks to concentrate. Although, I’m back to having one kid at home, work really has just crept up my ass and my nephew showing me a Volume 1 of The Ultimates 2, really just took it’s toll. So the book had to give way to the comic book.
Hehehehe.
