My Daughter…The Saviour
May 16, 2008Around 9:30am the phone rings.
Bella: Hi Dad, I already had my breakfast, can I have a bag of chips?
Me: Just as long as you promise to leave me some okay?
Bella: Okay, I will. Thanks and I love you.
Me: Alright, love you as well.
Got home 8:30 after a long day. Found myself lying on the bed watching TV with the kids while the three of us were cuddling.
Bella: Dad, I’m sorry.
Me: Why? Whaddya do? (saying it in my sarcastic yet this is going to be interesting tone)
Bella: Well, see, we had to finish the bag of chips…..
Me: And why pray tell, did you do that?
Bella: Well, you see I did put them away after eating some, but they looked so lonely and I had to save them.
Me: (trying very hard to suppress my laughter) I see. Aaaand you had to save them from what? Loneliness?
Bella: No, ants.
Me: (still trying to keep a straight face) And have you ever seen a single ant in this house?
Bella: No.
Me: Now, tell me again. They needed saving from what?
Bella: **looks at me, realizes her mistake, and makes a busted face**
Me: Yeah, you got that right……Nice try, though that’s gotta be your lamest excuse yet.
As I gave her a tickling.

Thanks Pete,
That would be really interesting indeed if Bella started blogging and exposing all my inanities with her. I’m sure she’d be itching for some payback once she learns this art.
Now Bella’s blog is something to look forward to.
why don’t you let her start now? there are several kiddie blogs out there already. in fact, we already have a few here in i.ph. i’m sure she can express herself well in writing. Hmm.. it would also be an interesting way to know what her thoughts are and view things in her perspective.
Awwww, your daughter’s cute!

Her blog will definitely be something to look forward to.
Wits,
Hmmm, weird as it may seem, I don’t think I’M ready for Bella to blog. Hahahaha.
Ade,
thanks for the kind words.
Tahn,
welcome. Feel free to browse around
tsk tsk tsk..yari ka manong!
dyowk! hehehe
I know! It would be disastrous for Bella to write as she has not entirely grasped the concepts of tact and privacy and I’m afraid of what she will write. Hahahahaha.
Also, am worried that she might stumble upon this blog of mine and might not like what she will read about her mom.
Hmmm, lots of things to consider.

Dude, your daughter’s adorable. Had on an amused smile the whole time I was reading this. When she gets old enough to blog, I wonder what she’ll be writing about you though. Now, won’t that be something.
