Well so far so good
September 23, 2007So I've been pretty busy lately. So busy that I can't even
defend myself from the incessant attacks of Pinchmy in the gender wars. But I've been really distracted somewhat of late. What is it with the female specie that they can easily turn a man's world upside down? I used to be a tough guy ya know. Smoke like a chimney, walk like a goon, stare people down during negotiation meetings. Now, i prance around the streets, smell the blossoming flowers and go on my merry way pinching cheeks of those guys that drink in the corner streets as I move along. Damn, am i turning gay?? Hope not.
But I guess, the fun must end as fast as it began. Soon I will be feeling like a baby who's lollipop just got snatched away. Well, such is life I guess. Lots of issues abound between me and this hot chick I know, that it's next to impossible to dream of a normal life together. I said "next to impossible" **wink, wink**
We shall see, both of us understand what we are going to go through, and i guess, that's the bottomline and probably what's most important. Hmmmm, Bella seems to like her though, however, she has not an inkling of her father's dark designs. Bwahahahaha!
Anyway, enough of the mushy stuff and time for some stuff that's been going on.
Well, I think I have decided to quit this job I currently have. Why you ask? Well, I just have too
much on my plate lately, family, finances, a blossoming relationship, and of course there is finances and family and…….okay, a lot more than what I state here. My primary decision on why I should do this is because, my daughter failed a subject. I can only blame myself. I wasn't there enough to help her out. Always in the office working and more often than not working late. So am looking for a simpler job. One that will allow me to be home at the end of the day and help bella with her studies and at the same, allow me to concentrate on this blog and probably make an extra buck with it.
*************
A week ago, I was riding this FX taxi (an asian utility vehicle) on my way home. As is my practice, I always sit at the back, cause the middle part can really compete as a sardine can. Anyway, I was listening to Michelle Branch's All You Want (for some reason I just love this song lately). So there I was full volume and all when this man in front of me starts singing along. Holy crap it was so annoying, cause he was singing complete with facial expressions and all. Damn fag was even trying to look into my eyes. So the asshole that I have always been, I turn off the ipod, lean over and give him the evil eye. Sure enough, he went to sleep right after and I was left to enjoy listening to my Michelle Branch and the wonderful thoughts it brings to mind.
Anyway, that will be all for now. Have to get back to work. Blech!!!
Watch out! Gay magnet on the loose!

hahahahahahahahahaha when you start questioning your sexuality, we all will question your sexuality.
Posted by joiz at September 25, 2007, 8:00 pmYes Titah Cai and Titah Joiz, want me to do your nails? Or would you rather that I do your hair? No Titah Cai, I think we should give your hair the fly away look. And you Titah Joiz, we should crimp yours. Hahahahahaha!
Actually, I have long ago accepted the fact that I am a gay magnet. Right now though, I am fascinated with one gay friend named Tonyo. tsk, tsk, tsk.

Posted by ccc at September 26, 2007, 2:21 amLiz, no, that was a couple I was spying on one night. They looked like they were enjoying themselves so I hid behind these bushes and clicked and clicked. Hahahaha. I know, my selection of music is old, but do you have to rub it in? Hehehehehe. I love those songs as well. Thanks lizzy, for bearing with my inanity. That means a lot.
Cai, didn’t know you loved speedy gonzales, Hahahaha. I will neither confirm nor deny these allegations. Hahahahaha! Thank you as well for the invite, just tell me when the baptism of your newborn will be.

Posted by trish at September 26, 2007, 7:54 amManang, kindly clarify your statement. Is that being able to distinguish between a hot and cold date or hot and cold coffee? Hahahaha
Till next year madame, I shall eagerly though probably impatiently, anticipate your arrival.
MANONG but of course im talking about the coffee..sheeesssh! you really give meaning to the definition of “kilabot ng mga kolehiyala” and “conceited” oh dagdag mo na “stubborn” will you please stop reading fhm and switch to uhmm…maxim? hahahaha!
btw..fyi, you need to update on your michelle branch bio ah..she’s married to her bass player (14 yrs her senior accdg to a very reliable source) and they had one daughter (almost similar to bella’s *wink*)
Posted by trish at September 26, 2007, 8:16 amOuch! yes mom, will do as you say!
wow… m so happy for you mr. V.
now at least you can have the following: (1) a lovelife, (2) time for your kids and (3) start something you’re really good at (e.g. blogging) hehehehe
Good Luck!!!
grrrrrrrrr..sumbong kita kay cocoy! inaaway mo ko *pouts*
Posted by trish at September 26, 2007, 9:21 amCris, well most of these are still plans. I will need time to process the implications that these actions will bring. Of course first and foremost is that it will limit me financially. But come to think of it, I have always been limited financially! Hahahaha!
Manang, **hugs**
mwahahaha! I know what you feel about your daughter failing a subject, (sabay therapeutic approach) “tell me more…”
Michelle Branch? Gawd. It’s way out of my league… But I still believe in individual differences. People have different tastes… Just like, a catsup may taste sweet for you but sour for me… Or so I thought?! errr…
Have a great day ahead!
Posted by janus at September 26, 2007, 10:52 amso this is what becomes of a smitten gay-magnet virus eh? haha. but seriously, i’m HAPPY for you, imagine, you notice things like flowers now?
(tara sa forum!) i really feel like saying a lot RIGHT HERE, but michelle branch gets in the way. LSS! Ugh. Hang in there, manong. I sort of promised someone i’ll be watching over you. I’m the goddess of spycats. Hah.
Janus, in the end, it all boils down to my kids. Sad to say that her failing a subject is a reflection of my parenting skills. Sigh……
Cocoy, uhm………..hold your thoughts please and don’t utter a word, I beg you! Hahahaha!
So the goddess of spycats is on my trail huh? No need to get your magnifying glass out, sooner or later you will get to see my usual routine as boring and probably plead for me to go out, out of pity for my sanity! hehehe. I will try to be on my best behavior.
Man, you are quite busy with your work and you haven’t got the time to do parenting skills… PERHAPS!
And if I were in your shoes, I will also resign from my current job.
Hi…finally I entered your door!
*still shy*
I resigned from my good-paying job when my eldest was 4 months old. She’s 13 now.
Posted by c 5 at October 30, 2007, 10:19 amHi C5 thanks for passing by. Oh yeah, no use being shy here. Just do what the other ladies do and act like you own this blog or something. Would you believe, I’m just a guest writer here. Hahahahaha
Just remember the saying that “the shy person goes hungry”.
Wish I could afford to quit my job right now, but stakes have been raised once again so will be forced to stick it out here. Am also happy to announce that my daughter passed her second quarter exams!! yipeeeee!

Michelle Branch? hmm… time to check the gay-meter mr.virus! hihi! just kidding! she is a great artist but someone as “hunky” as you shouldn’t be caught listening to tune of Michelle Branch … imagine yourself being the black guy in the Movie “White Chicks” singing Vanessa Carlton’s song ..”making my way downtown …la la la” oh well! who cares!!! as long as you are happy! cheers!
