Way with words

Work as usual is taking a lot of my time.  Just yesterday I was only able to go home by 8pm.   I wasn't about to but my daughter insisted that she had an assignment in Math.  Multiplication at that.  (oh wow, like I'm very good at math).  Anyway, I was talking to her on the phone when she told me that she has a bad letter for me at home.  Was asking her what it was thinking that she must've done something terrible in school and the principal is now calling for me.

Yesterday while on our way to go to my mother's house, it suddenly dawned on me that I forgot my cigarettes at home.

Food for thought

Alright, hold on people  this virus is  waxing philosophical so this  post will be    serious.   It's been on  my head for quite sometime now, and normally, I would    rather ponder this on my own.  But just this week, I saw the need to discuss this    with a female friend (who is also my colleague) and she gave me lots of eye   openers (no, not that kind of eye opener you pervs!).

Sorry guys for no updates.  Don't know what crawled up my ass lately, but sheeeit, I feel so tired, irritable and just plain nonchalant about life in general.  Work sucks, and am just not in the mood for more problems but they seem to be flocking to me.

Another Ramble

Man I stayed up late last night.  Not because I had to due, to some earth shattering or mind-boggling reason and certainly it wasn't because I was getting laid by a very gorgeous woman, but more because of this Harry Potter and the Deathly Harrows book.

It’s just one of those days……

Was a volcano ready to explode yesterday.  Work has been particularly pretty hard the past days and there is pressure for me to go home early as it is my daughter's quarterlies this week.  It was most significant to get home earlier yesterday because her exams for today are for Sibika and Math, subjects that she is quite weak in.  You see right from the very beginning, I have spoken to my daughter in English.  Because whether we admit it or not, there is a slight preference for people who are fluent in the language when they apply for work.   I think I did a great job training her in that.  However, she now has trouble speaking in the vernacular.   Sibika is taught in the vernacular.
