My Weird List
June 1, 2007Alright, here is my list! Tagged by the man who calls himself a Planet.
The following is my Weird List. 15 things that make me weird. Though everyone knows that already, but there are still some facts that are little known about me so here they are.
1. I like eating my sinigang (a local dish) with fried egg (sunny side up) and ketchup.
2. It's funny, but I can eat a ton of food and not gain weight.
3. I am very time conscious. I will hold you accountable to an agreed upon time. I do not like being late and being made to wait. I consider it a waste of my time when people are late on me.
4. Contrary to popular belief, I am very picky when it comes to women. Moreso now, after a failed marriage. Stuff like looks, breeding and intelligence are factors that weigh heavily in my choice of women.
5. People have mistaken me for Jao Mapa, Hadji Alejandro and some even call me Vic Sotto.
6. I am actually a very shy person who has learned how to be bold and friendly, only when the need arises (for work). Otherwise, I prefer to be alone, or at home.
7. My friends, sort of consider me an inspiration and admire the way that I have handled different situations (crisis) both in my personal and professional life. They have referred to me as a trailblazer a number of times.
8. I was suspended in Grade 7 for three days for bringing a girlie magazine to school. Asked my dad for help and he told my mom that there were no classes for three days. Hahahaha! I love my Dad!
9. I am more at home with the masses than with the elite. Though I get invited to posh places and sometimes attend more out of necessity than choice, the feeling of being out of place is predominant in me. Such ostentation is impractical for me.
10. The way, I look is somehow a favorite of gay people. As I've been hit on, stalked and bugged by them.
11. I used to give seminars in stock market investing both to schools and government offices.
12. As a caregiver in NZ, I was made to handle the body of resident that had a heart attack during the night. Not an experience I would like to repeat.
13. I am a very flexible and adaptable person and can overcome my fears just to get the job done. (wow, this is a resume entry!).
14. My best subjects in high school and college were english, history and philosophy.
15. I paint, when I have time and one of my works was exhibited in school during high school.
So with that I tag Carey, Karmee, Trish, Cheska and CCC. Whew, I'm glad that was over with. Hehehe.

#5. People have mistaken me for Jao Mapa, Hadji Alejandro and some even call me Vic Sotto.
- I’m sorry I’ve been laughing for 5 mins now and couldn’t stop… hahahahahaha
Dude, this means you look so 80s!!!
You forgot one thing here. - Number 1 should be “I go W every weekend!” hehehe
Cheers! Thanks for the list.
Posted by alvin at June 4, 2007, 1:15 pmChes, thank you very much. But we gotta go with the general consensus you see? hehehehe.
Alvin, yes, the 80’s. I expected someone who grew up during that time to know who those people I mentioned are.
Hmmm, good number one. Unfortunately, I’ve got no time, been really super busy these days.
Posted by ramblingvirus at June 5, 2007, 7:36 ami assumed that CCC is little ‘ol me since that you’re the only one calling me that but the link on my name is broken
… err! thanks for the tag … can i tag you back??
hehe!!
Your assumption is right on the mark CCC. And for your info, I have fixed the broken link na noh! Hehehe.
Hope you are alright madame.
Hehehe. At least the Popsie tag is so perfect for you.
But to eat and not gain weight? Hmpf excuse me while I cry and shout expletives hehehe.
Heeey, i’m so so sorry I didn’t know u tagged me, waah! Sniff sniff. But thanks! Fun noh?
Looking at your list, I think you’re not that weird, hehe. Well, maybe save for #5? Haha. I’m trying hard to imagine! We share #1 and #2. As for #3, I hate being made to wait, too, that’s why I don’t like being very early, haha! Cheers.
TK,
Popsie? Okay, I really feel like an old man now huh! What’s more, I noticed stubbles of my moustache and beard have gone gray! WTF? Hahahaha. Oh well, at least I can eat what I want and not need to count calories.
Karmee,
Of course you wouldn’t think I’m weird, we share the same depths of weirdness. Hahaha! So your logic about the tardiness is that since no one is going to be on time you might as well join the bandwagon? Grrr! Hehehe, Just kidding.
Posted by ramblingvirus at June 7, 2007, 7:15 amthanks for the tag! weirdness is subjective… and reading your list made me realize what weirdness is according to your terms.
it’s kinda odd, how you make some really serious intros in your previous posts about some really ‘deep thoughts’ when in fact they turned out to be really weird ones. and here you claim to be listing weird things about yourself, which actually turned out to be some deeper personal infos about yourself (and me thinks they are not that weird except for 1, 2 and 10).
